Terrascan Pty Ltd (ABN 61 623 375 235) runs Wirelog. We're based in Australia. Wirelog is a web app for wireline and downhole logging crews. This page explains what personal information we collect and why. It also tells you how to contact us about it. It is written for the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles.
What we collect
- Account details, such as your name, email address, and the company you sign in for.
- Company data, including the company account, its users, and the settings for that account.
- Equipment and log records you keep in Wirelog, such as sondes, tools, jobs, and field forms.
- Approximate GPS, when you capture a location on a record. We don't collect a location unless you record it.
- Usage logs, such as sign-in times and the technical details needed to run the service, including browser type and IP address.
- Messages you send through the contact form on this site, with the name, email and company you enter. They're emailed to us and used only to reply to you. Cloudflare Turnstile checks the form for spam.
Why we collect it
We use this information to provide Wirelog, keep each company's records separate, run the 14-day trial, reply when you contact us, and protect the service. We don't use it for advertising.
Where it is stored
Wirelog is stored on Cloudflare infrastructure. That infrastructure may be outside Australia. We take steps that are reasonable in the circumstances to keep the information secure.
We don't sell it
We don't sell personal information. We share it only with providers who host or support Wirelog, or when the law requires us to.
Access, correction and deletion
Email hello@wirelog.com.au to ask for access to your personal information, a correction, or deletion. We'll respond within a reasonable time. Deleting an account removes the personal information we can remove. Records a company must keep may stay in that company's account.
Complaints
Write to us first at hello@wirelog.com.au. If you're not satisfied with our response, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) through oaic.gov.au.
Cookies
The app uses a session cookie so you can stay signed in. We don't use advertising cookies or other ad trackers. If we add any later, we'll update this page before we turn them on.
